Seminar in Career Exploration (TRDIS-101)
This one-credit quarter semester seminar course is designed to help you learn about and reflect on:
- Your interests, values and skills as they relate to potential occupational preferences
- Education necessary to attain occupational goals – including a thorough review of the majors at UW-Stout
- Employment and occupational information
- Career decision-making strategies to help you now and in the future
ASPIRE-Student Support Services waives tuition for this one-credit course for eligible students; meaning...Student is coming from a limited income family (usually means you are receiving a PELL grant through Federal Financial Aid) and/or first generation-college student and/or has a documented disability.
Undergraduate UW-STOUT Student is full-time (taking at least 12 credits not including Career Exploration Course).
Student will remain active in the ASPIRE-Student Support Services Program and activities until graduation from UW-Stout.
