Pre-Graduation Checklist

Here are some tips to help you wrap up your academics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

  • Review your degree requirements with your advisor.
  • Apply for graduation at the beginning of the semester you plan on graduating.          
  • Review Registration and Records requirements for graduation.
  • Update your permanent address with the Registration and Records or the Graduate School to ensure you receive your diploma and other pertinent information in a timely manner.
  • Any financial obligations (fines, tickets, fees, etc.) must be paid in order to graduate.
  • Contact Career Services for help writing your resume and other career-related assistance.
  • Fill out the employment survey, if you have accepted a position or have been accepted to Grad School.
  • Visit the University of Wisconsin-Stout bookstore for graduation announcements and academic regalia.
  • Read and fill out information pertaining to laptops.
