UW-Stout Technology and Business Incubator - Business incubation is a support process that accelerates the successful development of start-up companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services. The UW-Stout Technology Transfer Institute has incubation space available in Menomonie, WI. The UW-Stout incubator is the recipient of the 2007 Synergy Knowledge and Idea Research and Development Award. Since its inception, the incubator has had a greater than 70% success rate, with incubator graduates generating a combined $73 million in annual sales while employing nearly 400 people throughout Western Wisconsin.
