The UW-Stout Center for Applied Ethics was founded in 2008 with the support of a generous donation to the Stout Foundation by anonymous donors.

The Center is led by a Director, who is advised and supported by an internal Steering Committee, external Board of Advisors, and subcommittees for its Grants Program, Speaker Series, Ethics Day, and Ethics Across the Curriculum.  The Center is active in promoting ethics in the curriculum, professional development related to ethics, and outreach activities.

The Center is located in room 302/303 of the Swanson Learning Center.
