About Me

Thank you for your interest in knowing more about me.

My passion for children, love for learning, joy in teaching profession, and connection to the community - all made me what I am today, and what I continue to explore and how I grow through every experience in life! After earning two Master's degrees in Human Development and Family Studies, a Doctorate in Child Development, and a couple diplomas, I still feel, I have a long way to go. The world seems to be full of opportunities to use, challenges to face, and discoveries to make.

I was born in southern parts of Indian sub-continent of Asia, raised by parents and grandparents, have a brother and a sister (both younger to me). Coming from a culture where knowledge, education, wisdom, hard-work, morals, and human values are given highest importance, that is what I hold dearest to me. I am raising a high-school attending daughter and live in a closely-knit family. I attempt for calmness and peace through yoga and meditation. I enjoy and support fine arts since I find my solace in them!

"What sculpture is to a block of marble, education is to a human soul" (Addison, 1711).
