Experience in the Golf Industry

I have had life long interest and experience in crop production, plant physiology and horticulture with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. Recently, with the University of Wisconsin-Extension Service I have had the role of commercial educator in horticulture and have provided coursework and information regarding turfgrass science to the commercial sector of the turfgrass industry. As the owner of a small agricultural business I bring practical experiences in business operations.

I expect that students who have successfully completed my courses will not only have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of turfgrass science and culture but also an appreciation of golf courses’ responsibility to the environment and the surrounding community.
