The Stout University Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501 C(3) corporation which was founded as an independent corporation in 1962 and is governed by a board of directors. This governing body includes alumni, friends of the university, business and industry leaders. The Foundation resources support the present and future needs of UW-Stout. Currently, the funds provide the scholarships, grants, faculty development, research resources, professorships, and chairs for the university.
