- 10-12 hours/week (additional summer hours available)

Job Summary:
- University Housing is seeking a Video Production Specialist who is creative and shows initiative. Background in video shooting, editing and production is required. Sound mixing and editing is also necessary. This is a great opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to a real world setting and work with professionals to develop projects. Video Production Specialist will get copies of projects that they create to incorporate into their portfolios.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have at least two semesters of student employment eligibility
- Have a video production background or currently a multimedia major
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Have a flexible work schedule to meet operations needs
- Strong experience with any of the following: Vegas, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro
- Experience in Adobe Flash
- Digital photography experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee video production and editing projects assigned
- Actively ideat projects during down time
- Work with professional Housing staff to bring marketing concepts to life
- Attend meetings scheduled by Design Coordinator
- Work with a Web Designer to maintain videos on the University Housing website
- Maintain a pleasant work attitude, and open communication with "clients"
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
