Job Title:
- Web Designer (Position currently filled)
Hours:
- 15-20 hours/week (Summer hours available)
Rate of Pay:
- Depends on qualifications. Probationary period applies.
Job Summary:
- The web designer maintains the University Housing website.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have at least two semesters of student employment eligibility
- Have knowledge of HTML
- Have knowledge of CSS
- Knowlegable in ASP
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Some experience with Adobe CS3 (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
- Digital photography experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects
Responsibilities:
- Maintain website
- Work with professional Housing staff to bring marketing concepts to life
- Attend meetings scheduled by Design Coordinator
- Update and organize University Housing stock photography files
- Work with a Graphic Designer to maintain images on the University Housing website
- Maintain a pleasant work attitude, and open communication with "clients"
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
- Work independently and efficiently
