Red Cedar Hall,
Stout’s new suite-style building, offers more of an “apartment” feeling
to it. Opened in the fall of 2005, Red Cedar offers 4 person suites
that have single bedrooms, a living
room, kitchenette, and private bath room facilities. The kitchenettes
offer a full sized refrigerator, a microwave, sink, and cabinets.
Rooms are equipped with a bed, dresser, desk, bookcase, and cable TV
connection. Full kitchens, including a stove, cook-top, refrigerator,
sink, pizza ovens, etc. are located on every floor. A compact laundry
room can also be found on each floor. The lower level of the building
has a game/TV room and some small meeting rooms. Red Cedar Hall is
served by two elevators and is COMPLETELY AIR CONDITIONED!!
All rooms contain cable TV and a computer network connection. You need to bring cables and devices to connect to these services. You provide linens; twin size extra long sheets are suggested. Dining Service is Ala Carte in the Memorial Student Center (on South campus).
Room Rates: Rooms can be rented for the entire summer, on a weekly basis or on a nightly basis. The summer is a little more than 16 weeks. Summer contract begins on Friday, May 15. Summer contract ends on Wednesday, Septermber 2, 2009 if you not staying in the halls for fall semester or Saturday September 5, 2009 if staying in halls for the 2009 fall semester.

If you are staying with us for 13 or more weeks you will be charged the entire summer rate. If you are staying with us for 3 or more nights in a given week you will be charged the weekly rate. Please make your reservation dates as accurate as possible. There is a non-refundable $5.00 processing fee for initial reservation and each subsequent reservation change.
Changing
Reservations: In order to change your reservation you must submit a new
reservation form. Revised charges are placed on your University account
when a revised reservation is received. To cancel your reservation
access the reservation form and check "Cancel my entire
reservation(s)". There is an additional non-refundable processing fee
of $5.00 for cancellation that will be added to your account. Failure
to show will not cancel your reservation, you will be billed until you
cancel or alter your reservation.
