Attention Laptop Students

Winterm Courses:  Beginning January 4, 2010, if you are taking a minimum of one qualifying e-Scholar credit during Winterm 2010 and do not have an e-Scholar laptop, you may pick one up at the ASK5000 desk, 322 Millennium Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00p.m. Monday - Friday.  Appointments are not necessary. Students will receive the laptop, accessories, and backpack.  A UW-Stout Student ID (StoutOne Cards or temporary ID) is required. A laptop will not be issued without a University issued ID card. 

Spring Laptop Deployment will begin January 22nd. Dates and times to be announced.

Power Supplies: Beginning in the Fall of 2008 ASK5000 will no longer be loaning power supplies. ASK5000 will issue replacements for lost power supplies, but all replacements will be billable and no refunds will be issued.

e-Scholar Credit Requirements: 
Degree seeking students must be registered for one qualifying undergraduate credit to participate in the e-Scholar program and receive a laptop computer.  This policy change  began Semester 1, 2008-09.

Special students (non-degree seeking-coded by Admissions) must be registered for a minimum of three (3) or more eligible fall 2008 credits.  This policy change began Semester 1, 2008-09.
