A touch-computer screen and laptop connections are located at the presenter station. ![]() Room 205 in Millennium Hall is UW-Stout’s premiere distance education lab, with seating for 50 people. The room is configured in a tiered auditorium style, with the presenter station at the front. It has full multimedia capabilities, as well as video, audio and web conferencing connectivity. The room is equipped with four projectors/screens to provide views to the presenter and the audience, as well as PC, DVD, VHS, video cameras, microphones and full-control switching system. A touch-computer screen and laptop connections are located at the presenter station. There is wireless access in the room, but also wired Ethernet and power hookups on the tables at each audience station. Room 205 is also connectible to the studio and its control room, for video productions, satellite uplink programs, etc. |
![]() Room 207 in Millennium Hall is a mid-sized distance education lab, with tables configured in an inverted V-shape; there is seating for 20. This room is ideal for smaller video conferences and web conferences, as well as presentations. The presenter station is integrated into the seating array, so all participants and presenter have the same view of the video screens. Equipment includes a PC laptop, DVD and VHS players, video camera, microphones and full-control switching system. There is wireless access in the room, but also wired Ethernet and power hookups on the tables at each audience station. |
Room 212a in Millennium Hall is a smaller room, designed as a conference room. The room seats up to 10 comfortably around the conference table, with “spectator” seating along the walls for 4 to 6 more. There are dual screens and video projectors, DVD and VHS players and a conference phone system located in the room. The presenter station is located at the head of the table, where a PC laptop and control system panel are also located. This room is ideal for conference calls and small-group web conferences, and can also be used with a portable video conferencing system available in the building. Room 212a offers wireless internet connectivity. |
