Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Issues
Learn@ UW-Utility in Madison is urging D2L users not to use IE8 as it is not a D2L supported browser yet. IE8 is causing users to experience issues opening some content links and uploading files. To avoid these issues, we recommend that you do not upgrade to IE8 and use a supported browser, such as, FireFox 2/3 or IE7.

Upgrade Complete
Learn@ UW-Stout (D2L) was successfully upgraded to version 8.4 on June 25th. However, there are outstanding issues with Java archive (.jar) files and Windows Media content. D2L is in the process of releasing a hotfix update to fix the Windows Media issue. Currently, we don't have a time estimate of when this will be resolved. Email learn@uwstout.edu if you experience either of these issues.
