The Application Process
All prospective students must follow a two part application process:
- General Graduate School application
- MSAP-specific application
Applications can be submitted simultaneously. Official undergraduate transcripts need only be submitted once to the Graduate School office.

Priority Deadline: March 2
Students will only be admitted in the fall semester. Applications received after deadline will be accepted on a space allowable basis.
MSAP Application Requirements:
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- GRE scores are preferred, but not required
- Three letters of recommendation (one must be from a faculty member)
- Evidence of undergraduate preparation in psychology
- Minimum of 15 undergraduate psychology semester credits
- Minimum of 5 semester credits in research methods
- Minimum of 3 semester credits in statistics
MSAP Application Materials:
- Writing sample which should be a:
- Research paper or
- Professional document
- Statement of interest which should include:
- Why you are interested in the MSAP program
- How the MSAP aligns with your professional goals
Note: Deficiency in undergraduate course preparation does not preclude admission, but may require additional coursework to complete the degree program. Students who do not meet requirements may be accepted on a provisional basis.
