General UW-Stout Graduate Studies Application Process
All prospective students must follow a standard application processes which includes a general application for graduate study at UW-Stout. Information is available on the Graduate Studies website.

The marriage and Family Therapy program only accepts full-time students. To be admitted with full status you must:
- Hold an appropriate bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Have an overall grade point average of at least 2.75
Applicants are strongly advised to complete the admissions process prior to February 1st, later applicants will be considered on a space available basis. Applicants accepted into the program will be required to complete a criminal background check.
