Coursework prepares you to manage hazards, implement controls and help companies maintain their profitability. To ensure that courses are current and curriculum valid, materials are reviewed by a program advisory committee, comprised of UW-Stout professors and professionals in the field.
Laboratory facilities, including industrial hygiene and biology labs, provide students access to current equipment as well as various training and technical resources. In addition, UW-Stout's process engineering and manufacturing labs provide a microcosm of the industrial workplace and an ideal setting for students to apply their hazard identification and control knowledge.
