All prospective students must follow a standard application processes which includes a general application for graduate study at UW-Stout. Information is available on the Graduate Studies website.
Admission Eligibility
To be admitted with full status to the M.S. in School Counseling program, you must:

Hold an appropriate bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0
Application Review Process
A review of all applications will be conducted by the program director or a program admissions committee.
In addition to the General UW-Stout Graduate School requirements, you must complete the School Counseling Program Application and the M.S. Degree in School Counseling Recommendation Form [PDF].
Applicants who are recommended by a faculty committee are invited to a personal interview. Following the interview, notification of acceptance or denial will be made by December 15 or April 15.
