The curriculum will be 30 credits total of which 12 credits are core courses and 15 credits of advanced study. The remaining credits, the research component required by the Graduate School, will be satisfied through ENGL-770 or ENGL-735. Per UW-Stout’s Graduate School policy, students are required to take 15 credits of 700-level coursework.

Students will need to provide an electronic portfolio of their work to the program director twice during their academic career: once when they have earned 15 credits and again when they have concluded their coursework and are taking their Independent Research credits (thesis or project option). This electronic portfolio will be used for program assessment purposes.
