AICC Student Design Competition
One of ICPF's co-sponsors, AICC, conducts its own annual
student design competition. Design criteria regulations, deadline and
other information on AICC's 2010 competition will be posted
on AICC's website (http://www.aiccbox.org/Student/) within
the next two to three weeks. In the interim, please e-mail Cindy Gaurino(cguarino@aiccbox.org) if you wish to be
added to the competition notification list. Those student teams that
place first and second in the first two categories of the upcoming 2010
AICC student design competition will be eligible to compete in ICPF's 2011
Best of the Best
live competition in February 2011.
2010 AmeriStar Student Package Competition
We have completed the cycle for our first annual AmeriStar Student competition for 2009. We have completed the judging, announced the winners and presented the awards at the AmeriStar Package Awards Dinner on May 19th at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL.
Believe it or not, it's already time to start planning for the 2010 AmeriStar Student Package Competition. Here are the planned dates for key milestones in this upcoming competition:
Final entry deadline = Thursday, January 14th, 2010
Judging = Thursday, January 28th, 2010
Please mark your calendar and encourage your students to enter the 2010 AmeriStar Student Package Competition. Please also pass this message along to fellow packaging program instructors and students.

Flexible Packaging Association

Research Paper addressing technical innovations in packaging machinery manufacturing industry or innovation in packaging materials. Junior or Senior only- top two papers from University accepted
