- NIRSA Benchmarking Survey - In the Spring of 2008, UW-Stout students participated in the National Intramural-Recreation and Sports Association Survey. The purpose of the survey was to provide a benchmarking mechanism to capture ways in which campus recreation enhances the lives of student and to share information on how Stout students feel about campus recreation. Finally, the survey was designed to show how University Recreation compares to campus recreation programs across the nation”. Open Recreation Times - Academic Year
Open recreation provides opportunities for unstructured physical activity. Enjoy swimming, diving, playing basketball, tennis, racquetball, walleyball, & volleyball or other activities at your leisure. Space & time is typically scheduled to allow for impromptu, walk up play and no memberships are required for Stout students.
All times and events are subject to change or cancellation due to Campus Recreation and Athletics special events. Please check the schedules posted in various activity areas or call the Urec front desk 715.232.1392 for availability and up-to-date information.
