Access to CommonSpot

If you are working for an office, department, or student organization that has begun using CommonSpot, UW-Stout's new content management software, you must attend training before receiving access to CommonSpot. The training schedule is posted on the CommonSpot Help page.

Once you have completed training, Web Development staff will establish access for you, create your sub site (if it's a new site) and be available during CommonSpot open lab times to help you get started maintaining your site. Open labs are also listed on the CommonSpot Help page linked above.

Student Organization Access to the Static Web Server

If you are a student taking charge of maintaining an existing student organization Web site (not in CommonSpot) and need access to your existing organizational site on UW-Stout's Web server, print, complete, and have your advisor sign the Student Organization Web Server Access Form [PDF].

Return the completed form to room 212 in Millennium Hall. You will be notified when your access is granted.
